Foam-grade Polyether Polyol is a dedicated polyether raw material independently developed and produced by Finemax Chemical for polyurethane foam manufacturing. Different from CASE-grade polyols, this series features excellent foaming activity, uniform bubble opening, good fluidity, and stable foaming reaction. It perfectly matches TDI and MDI systems, delivering stable foam molding, uniform cell structure, high resilience, and low shrinkage. Widely applicable to flexible foam for daily use and rigid foam for thermal insulation, it is one of the most essential core materials in the PU foam industry.

4.Physical & Chemical Properties

Physical Properties

Foam-grade polyether polyol has moderate viscosity and excellent fluidity, which is conducive to rapid mixing and uniform foaming during production. The product is slightly denser than water and features good solubility in conventional organic solvents. It shows stable physical state at normal temperature, no layering or precipitation, ensuring continuous and stable mass production of PU foam products.

Chemical Properties

This polyether polyol contains highly active terminal hydroxyl groups, which can react rapidly and stably with isocyanate (-NCO). With precisely controlled reaction activity, it achieves balanced foaming and curing speed. It possesses good chemical stability and hydrolytic resistance. The produced foam features stable physical properties, low compression set, and excellent anti-aging performance, not easy to harden, shrink or deform during long-term use.
