Finemax CASE-grade Polyether Polyol is a specially formulated polyoxyalkylene polyol designed exclusively for polyurethane Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomer applications. Different from conventional foam-grade polyols, this series features narrow molecular weight distribution, low volatility, extremely stable hydroxyl value, and excellent hydrolytic resistance. It provides consistent reaction performance with isocyanate and delivers high toughness, high weather resistance, and low shrinkage for finished CASE products. It is a core raw material for manufacturing high-performance industrial PU coatings, structural adhesives, waterproof sealants, and elastic elastomers.

4.Physical & Chemical Properties

Physical Properties

CASE-grade polyether polyol has moderate and controllable viscosity, excellent fluidity, and uniform molecular consistency. It is fully compatible with common organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, and solvent oil. Selected grades present good water dilution resistance and emulsion stability, adapting to both solvent-based and water-based PU formulation systems.

Chemical Properties

The product contains highly active and uniformly distributed terminal hydroxyl groups (-OH), which can react stably and controllably with isocyanate (-NCO). It features low reaction activity fluctuation, excellent chemical stability, and superior hydrolysis resistance. Finished PU products show outstanding anti-aging, anti-yellowing, and weather resistance, effectively avoiding cracking, peeling, and viscosity attenuation in long-term outdoor and high-humidity environments.
