1.Product Overview
Grafted Polyether Polyol, also widely known as Polymer Polyol (POP), is a high-performance modified polyether raw material specially developed for high-load polyurethane foam. Different from conventional standard polyether polyols, this product is synthesized by graft copolymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile (SAN) monomers onto conventional polyether backbone. It contains uniformly dispersed organic polymer particles, effectively improving the bearing capacity, hardness, cell structure and physical strength of PU foam. Featuring high solid content, stable dispersion and excellent foam forming performance, it is the core preferred material for manufacturing high-resilience, high-hardness and low-density flexible PU foam.

4.Physical & Chemical Properties
Physical Properties
Grafted polyether polyol is a uniform milky viscous liquid at room temperature, with moderate viscosity and excellent fluidity. The grafted polymer particles are stably dispersed in the polyether matrix without agglomeration or precipitation. It has good compatibility with conventional foam polyethers, blowing agents and additives, and can be perfectly miscible with most organic solvents. It features stable physical properties and outstanding processing adaptability, suitable for continuous and batch foaming production.
Chemical Properties
Retaining active terminal hydroxyl groups, POP can undergo stable and efficient polycondensation reaction with isocyanate (-NCO). The grafted SAN copolymer particles act as organic rigid fillers, which will not affect the normal curing and foaming reaction. The product exhibits excellent chemical stability and hydrolytic resistance. The formed PU foam features higher cross-linking density, stable chemical structure, and effectively improved anti-aging and compression resistance compared with ordinary foam polyether.
